Comprehensive Land Use Plan for the Castleberry / Majors / Route 9 Triangle
The Forsyth County Comprehensive Land Use Plan is the documented result of a tremendous effort involving many citizens of our community. This plan is clearly the expressed interests of local residents.
The Comprehensive Land Use Plan recommends 99.2% residential for the 239 acres with about 30% (next to Castleberry and Majors Roads) to be a maximum of 2.5 single family homes per acre and 70% (next to Route 9) a maximum of 6 units per acre (condos, townhouses, and apartments).
