Size of the Local Tea Party
In total, there were 1,200 “emailers” from over 70 subdivisions in District 3, with 99% expressing their wishes that the commissioners follow the county’s future land use plan and wisdom of the citizens who helped draft this plan. We received only 5 emails in favor while a county admin assistant recalls 10 to 15 - - - less than 1%.
The 1,200 homeowners were from neighborhoods including Hampton Forest, Providence Plantation, Creekside, Polo Fields, Castlebrooke, Oak Knoll, West Castleberry Road, Forest Brooke, Big Creek Township, Coventry, Silver Leaf, Fenwick, Vickery, Kentmere, Whitfield, Georgetown, Pinnacle Glen, Oakmont, Longwood, Brighton Lake, Dressage, Fox Creek, Valley Stream, Fieldstone Glen, Hutchinson Trace, Hunters Walk, the Court at Bethelview Downs, Castleberry Place, Ashebrooke, Notting Hill, Majors Ridge, Bentley Farms, Vickery Lake, Silver Leaf, Preserve at Fieldstone, Enclave at Fieldstone, Fieldstone, Wills Orchard, Rogers Crossing, Valley Stream, Calamar, Weybridge, Foxcreek, Wynfield, Vickery Springs, Castleberry Place, Brannon Woods, Belmont, Dressage, Wade Valley, Ivey Manor, Vickery Downs, Barrett Downs, Heritage Manor, Fieldstone Park, Post Gate, Liberty, Ryans Bluff, Sheffield, and Estate at Creekside (and we apologize for missing a few, which we know we did).
